Also known as Kala Chana Flour or Bengal Gram Flour. A fine ground pulse flour made fromwhole Kala-Chana including the skin, known as blackchickpeas (Bengal gram). It has higher fiber content than regular Chickpea flour and very low glycemic index which may make them suitable for people with blood sugar problem. Contains a high proportion of carbohydrates but no gluten. Despite this, in comparison to other flours, it has a relaively high proportion of protein.
