Eden® Agar Agar, aka Kanten' is beneficial vegetable gelatin made of two kinds of sea vegetables with strong thickening properties. The seaweeds are boiled to get gel, pressed, dried, and shaved into flakes.
Eden Sea Vegetables contain an array of trace minerals and cleansing phytonutrients that are not common in land sourced vegetables.
Perfect for desserts, pie fillings, baked good fillings, puddings, parfaits, fruit or vegetable aspic and more. The flakes dissolve in hot liquids, which thicken as they cool.
To Prepare: Add 4 tablespoons of flakes to 4 cups of fruit juice or stock, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until dissolved.
Add fruits or vegetables and cool until firm.
