Agar-Agar, also knoen as 'Kanten' or 'China Grass', derived from bright red sea algae, is a vegetarian thickener, thicken better than gelatin

3 teaspoons of Agar-Agar Flakes is rough;y equivalent to 1 teaspoons if Agar-Agar Powder. 

Agar-Agar is rich in iodine and trace minerals. Used as a stabilizer or thickening agent for soups, fruits preserves, ice creams, puddings, cheesecakes, other desserts and egg-free dessert recipes.  

How To Use Agar-Agar Flakes: Put 1/4 cup liquid (water or milk) into a shallow pan. Stir in 1 tablespoon Agar-Agar Flakes, cook over medium heat, gently for 2 to 3 minutes, until the flakes are dissolved. Add this warm Agar-Agar mixture immediately to liquid you wish to thicken, and stir well. It will thicken in 30-45 minutes or faster in the refrigerator.
