This long wiry leaf orange pekoe tea comes from the Ratnapura District of Sri Lanka. Known for their strong, robust full bodied tea with a mellow aroma and a little floral citrus sweetness.Ceylon tea classically brews a strong, fresh and tangy dark tea with a golden-red color in the cup.
To Make Tea: In a warm tea pot put 1-2tsp tea, pour a cup of hot water (194-205°F), steep for 2-3minutes (For stronger tea increase the steeping time), strain and drink. Can be served with a dash of milk, add sugar or a sweetener of your choice.
