Peeled & Split fava beans (habas) are dried Fava / Broad beans with its outer skin removed, and have a creamy pale yellow color. When cooked it has bold, earthy flavor, creamy texture and buttery taste. Popular to use in soups, dips to sauces, salads, pasta dishes and stews.
Basic preparation: Wash, rinse & soak overnight. Add 4 Cups of water / Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 60-75 minutes or until tender (add more water as needed). Whisk lightly to remove the floating foam while cooking.
Yield: 3 cups of cooked beans / Cup of dry bean
