Commonly used in soups, gruel's or as a Chinese medicinal tea for arthritis, indigestion or weight loss.
Cooking Instruction: Put 1 cup washed and rinsed barley in a pot, and cover with water by a couple of inches, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover and simmer for 45-55 minutes or until tender. Add 2 cups of chicken broth to the pot. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add honey and lemon juice for taste and enjoy.
