Masa Harina, which has its distinctive taste, is a very finely ground corn flour made from field/dent corn (White/ Blanco Hominy) that has been soaked in slaked lime/lime water then dried before grinding. It has a soft texture and reconstitutes very easily with many other liquids â€“ from water to eggs to oil â€“ water is generally the most common, ideal for making easy-to-shape dough.
