BROWN MUSTARD SEED
These tiny brown Mustard seeds of mustard plants are from Andhara, the southern region of India. It has a fresh clean aroma, more pungent biting flavor and is hotter than the yellow, but less than the black mustard seeds.
.Mostly used in South Indian and Andhra cuisines to flavor curry, chutney, sambhar and rasam recipes. Usually tempered in oil, making them less spicy-nutty with mild-sweet aroma.
Mustard seeds are an excellent source of selenium and a very good source of omega-3 fatty acids and manganese.
