Also known as Tuscan peppers, sweet Italian peppers, and golden Greek peppers. Italian Pepperoncini Peppers are yellow when fresh and then turn to red as the sweet flavor intensifies. In heat scale it has only 100-150 scoville heat unit.
This reminds me of Piment d’Espellete, although it is a little spicier. Great flavor to use on almost anything. I have had to share my supply repeatedly with guests who loved it.
